// 01. COMMANDER & ACCOUNT
Q: Will I lose my progress if I close the terminal?
A: If you are playing on a GUEST account, your data is temporary. To secure your ship, credits, and cargo permanently, click [ LINK NEURAL NETWORK ] to authenticate via Google. You will then be prompted to claim a unique Commander Callsign.
Q: How do I change my ship's name?
A: Your vessel is currently identified by your Commander Callsign. To build a reputation on the Galactic Leaderboard, make sure you upgrade your guest account to a permanent one.
// 02. FLIGHT CONTROLS & PHYSICS
Q: My ship is moving, but I'm not consuming fuel. Is this a bug?
A: Negative. Space has no friction. Fuel (Delta-V) is only consumed when you accelerate or decelerate (changing your velocity). Once you reach your target speed, you will coast on momentum indefinitely without burning a single drop of fuel.
Q: What happens if my fuel tank reaches absolute zero?
A: A catastrophic failure. If you run out of fuel while moving, you cannot fire retro-rockets to stop. You will drift into the void forever. You must either wait for another Commander to intercept and destroy your vessel, or trigger the [ SELF DESTRUCT ] sequence to respawn at Earth Orbital Station (losing your cargo).
Q: The flight computer won't let me accelerate anymore. Why?
A: Safety protocols. The system automatically reserves enough fuel for a [ FULL STOP ]. If your requested acceleration would consume your stopping reserve, the thrusters will lock to prevent endless drifting.
// 03. MINING, COMBAT & ECONOMY
Q: I'm right next to an asteroid, but the [ EXTRACT ] button is disabled!
A: Mining lasers require absolute precision. You must be within 50.0 km of the target AND your relative velocity must be exactly 0 km/s. Use the [ FULL STOP ] command to halt your ship before attempting extraction or docking.
Q: Why is my [ FIRE LASER ] button showing 'ARMISTICE ZONE'?
A: The U.E.F. enforces a strict weapon-lock protocol within a 250km radius of Earth Orbital Station to protect docked vessels and new pilots. You must navigate beyond the 250km perimeter to engage in combat.
Q: How do I get more credits to buy upgrades?
A: Scan for asteroids, extract raw ores (like Iron or Titanium), and fly back to Earth Orbital Station. Once docked, access the Galactic Trade Network (GTN) to sell your cargo at current market prices.
